    November 14, 2009: EA has been making a firm improvement with each year of thier NHL series for the last few years. I played NHL 08 when the stick control was vastly improved. Then in 09 the defence got their inhancements and the game was balanced. I thought there was almost nothing more that could of been done to make it any better. I was wrong. NHL 10 changes the fighting system to a first person which takes some time to get used to but is better than anything before in a Hockey game. Then adding board play puts a element that you see in so many actual games. Gameplay has seemed to be slowed down just a little from the last few years but this instead of hurting it. The speed of play allows you to see how the plays are shaping up and the best position for you to find the back of the net. If you are debating between NKL 2k10 and NHL 10, choose NHL 10 its got many more improvements and has a smoother gameplay than the 2k series.
