Description

Our story takes place in a world called “Ivalice,” in an age when magic was commonplace and airships plied the skies – the Archadian Empire, seeking to strengthen its base of power, had been invading and subjugating its neighboring lands one by one—a fate which befell the small Kingdom of Dalmasca. Archadia’s invasion and the subsequent death of the Dalmascan king prompted the Princess Ashe, the sole surviving heir to the Dalmascan throne, to take up arms against the invaders. In her struggle to oust the occupying Archadian forces and restore freedom to her people, Ashe must watch as many of her allies pay the blood price for that freedom. Though tempted to abandon all hope in the face of the Empire’s might, her determination keeps her from succumbing before what would seem to be inevitable defeat. Then she meets Vaan, an urchin from the Dalmascan capital of Rabanastre. Vaan dreams of one day becoming a sky pirate, escaping the Empire on his airship. Vaan, Ashe, Vaan’s friend Penelo, the sky pirate Balthier, his partner Fran and many more are on an adventure through Ivalice that traces the mysteries behind the Archadian Empire’s invasion.

July 07, 2007: Final Fantasy for the past two decades has found it's throne amongst all games everywhere. It is revered by many as the greatest gaming series ever and the greatest of the Role Playing genre. The 12th installment brings us back to the spectacular land of Ivalice, a land used in a few other titles, with a deep plot revolving around a few rebels and their attempt to overthrow an empire. It's had a lot to compete with (Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Gears of War, ect.) but it easily prevails over it's competition. Unfortunately many may not see Final Fantasy XIII as even though it will come out, it will be for the PS3 which is at the time losing because of it's price. As far as how this game looks: The music is amazing. The graphics are amazing. The gameplay is amazing. The characters are amazing. This game is one of the few (in my humble opinion) perfect games out there. If you have a PS2 and a lot of time and patience then this game is for you.

May 08, 2007: I and my daughter played this game for about all of two seconds, and thats when we discovered, like most violent games, that the book had NO plot!! We had been so excited to get it, and guess what, it sucked!! This book is a good waste of perfectly good money
